Been using for as long as I have had a 'modern' Android phone, and would never use anything but. Sadly, it have issues sometimes (that thankfully are usually fixed soon) - but REALLY wish they would add a 'disable notifications for reactions/likes' option. REALLY annoying how fast the phone blows up with constant pinging cuz someone wants to like/react to every single message. This has been a feature that has been requested since.. again... as long as I have used it, and never really addressed.

This was my favorite SMS app for years. Now it's so full of problems I'm done. When you try to add a contact, it only gives the option to add the new number to your existing contacts. also, having to select a picture 3 times to add it to a message before sending has me looking for a new app after 5 years or more of using Textra. Used to be you just tapped the photo and it was deposited in the draft.

Update. I have to uninstall my favourite texting app, because there is no app/plugin for my new Samsung Galaxy Watch. ------ My favourite texting app! I keep coming back to Textra. It's the best third-party texting app out there! 1) Yes, you can send MMS 2) I love the ability to send timed texts - I use it as my reminder service, sending timed messages to myself. 3) Very customizable. You can even change the colours of each person's messages. 4) 99% better than my phone's built in SMS app.
