HERE’S WHAT THEY’RE SAYING
ā€œGives you the best route to where you want to goā€ - New York Times
ā€œYou won't realize how much time you can save planning until you use this appā€ - LA Times
ā€œKiller appā€ - Wall Street Journal
ā€œMBTA has a favorite transit app – and it's called Transitā€ - Boston Globe
ā€œA one-stop-shopā€ - Washington Post

AND HERE’S THE WORD FROM PUBLIC TRANSIT RIDERS:
ā€œYour app was the deciding factor in selling my car.ā€
ā€œBlows Google Maps out of the water.ā€
ā€œThe head of our local transit agency recommended this app over the one her agency created.ā€

6 GREAT THINGS ABOUT TRANSIT:

THE BEST REAL-TIME DATA: Using the best transit agency data, GO crowdsourcing data and our in-house ETA prediction engine, we get you the most accurate real-time info possible for all transport modes: bus, subway or metro, train, streetcar, ferry, rideshare and more. Prefer to travel on two wheels? See live bikeshare and scooter locations right on the map.

OFFLINE SUPPORT: Bus schedules, stop locations, subway maps and even our trip planner are available offline. When GPS is spotty underground? Use GO and you’ll still get precise ETAs.

TRIP PLANNING PAR EXCELLENCE: See fast and easy routes on buses, subways and trains, and even multiple modes in one trip (bus + bike or scooter + metro). Personalize your journey planner in the settings: skip long walks or the modes you’d rather avoid. It’s like using the MTA Bus Time, MTA Train Time, NJ Transit MyBus, SF Next Muni, CTA Bus Tracker, WMATA Next Arrivals, SEPTA app – all in one!

GO NAVIGATION*: Use GO to receive departure alarms to catch your bus or train, and get alerted when it’s time to get off or transfer. You’ll also contribute more accurate info and real-time ETAs for other passengers – and rack up points for being the most helpful rider on your line.

CROWDSOURCED WISDOM: See what millions of riders say about crowding levels, on-time performance, the best station exits, and more.

EASY PAYMENTS: Pay your transit fare and buy bikeshare passes directly in the app in 100+ cities.

*Continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life.

this app doesn't reliably track your busses. I've sometimes been told my bus arrives in 12 minutes only for it to arrive 40 minutes later. timestamps actively lie to you. bus locations disappear and bus locations are statio nary unless someone show you their bus' location. despite all the BS I smell from this app, im still forced to use it since it's the only one available. The monopoly is on this one app that works half the time and no changes get brought to it for accurate location.

Pros: It's very detailed, lets you choose from multiple timelines of when you leave and when you arrive. Real time updates for bus locations. Cons: The graphics are way too huge, taking up so much space you can't actually see the important info until you scroll down. Also the UI is just pretty confusing, you see a giant graphic of numbers and it doesn't tell you what it is. Also didn't show what direction you're facing, unlike Google maps.

Subpar app. Sure it's better than nothing. It lacks real time tracking and accurate times. If a bus is less than 5 minutes away, it shows the next route, if it is more than 20 mins away it doesn't even show location. For the bus and train which is absurd as its the whole point of this app. It uses an unexplicable amount of data and battery. You won't know if you missed it or if it's late/cancelled until long after the fact.

What’s new

Arriving early? Late? Perhaps you’re spiritually a Japanese railway conductor and always PRECISELY on time? Let folks know by sharing a link to your live GO trip!
How it works:
1. Start a GO trip
2. Get a shareable link
3. People who open your link can see your trip, current location, and ETA
AKA you no longer have to text your friends ā€œThere in 10 minsā€ (when you’re actually 15 mins away) because they can now see your ETA update in real-time!
