6 GREAT THINGS ABOUT TRANSIT:
THE BEST REAL-TIME DATA: Using the best transit agency data, GO crowdsourcing data and our in-house ETA prediction engine, we get you the most accurate real-time info possible for all transport modes: bus, subway or metro, train, streetcar, ferry, rideshare and more. Prefer to travel on two wheels? See live bikeshare and scooter locations right on the map.
OFFLINE SUPPORT: Bus schedules, stop locations, subway maps and even our trip planner are available offline. When GPS is spotty underground? Use GO and you’ll still get precise ETAs.
TRIP PLANNING PAR EXCELLENCE: See fast and easy routes on buses, subways and trains, and even multiple modes in one trip (bus + bike or scooter + metro). Personalize your journey planner in the settings: skip long walks or the modes you’d rather avoid. It’s like using the MTA Bus Time, MTA Train Time, NJ Transit MyBus, SF Next Muni, CTA Bus Tracker, WMATA Next Arrivals, SEPTA app – all in one!
GO NAVIGATION*: Use GO to receive departure alarms to catch your bus or train, and get alerted when it’s time to get off or transfer. You’ll also contribute more accurate info and real-time ETAs for other passengers – and rack up points for being the most helpful rider on your line.
CROWDSOURCED WISDOM: See what millions of riders say about crowding levels, on-time performance, the best station exits, and more.
EASY PAYMENTS: Pay your transit fare and buy bikeshare passes directly in the app in 100+ cities.
*Continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life.

Fairly Good. Some things I wish for: 1. More control over feedback buttons (e.g. seats available - they seem to pop up randomly but I always want to give feedback). 2 The ability to factor in high-rise buildings: I with on the fifteenth floor, so I've set my walking speed to "mosey" to account for the extra time on the elevator, but this is way too slow when I'm taking the bus from home, and I end up waiting at the stop for an extra 5 mins. 3. Ability to report detours and missing bus stops.

Turning more into an inconvenience than a travel aid. Some how GPS and ETA features have regressed and are at an all time bad! Either the GPS shows nothing at all or will be accurate but the ETA will be drastically inaccurate. It will show the bus down the street(about 2min away) but give the eta as 12min, making their notification system useless. I have also found it will inaccuratly calculate delays, and will just change the ride you have selected with zero notice creating panic and confusion.

6.0 is a terrible update. The UI seems to be designed for someone who is half blind, with each element taking up a comically large screen space. It still shows the bus's location in near-real time on its way to you, but it no longer highlights the route the bus will take to get there, only the route it will take after you get on. The update also broke notifications. Older versions would have pop-ups reminding you to, for example, get off in two stops, but the pop-ups now only say "Transit GO"

What’s new
- Platform codes! Looking for a train, but aren’t sure which platform it’s stopping at? - We’ll now show you the “platform code” associated with each departure in the ETA card (whenever the data’s available)
- Agency links! Are you riding with one of Transit’s 180+ partner agencies? Your agency can now set up a cornucopia of custom links for you to explore in Transit’s settings.
- Something bodaciously GO-dacious for 4M+ qualifying crowdsourcers. Stay tuned!
