Ratings and reviews

Trying to return a truck in the app after hours is a nightmare. If you drove any miles over your estimated amount, it won't allow you to move forward with the on app return, forcing you to leave the keys in the box, opening yourself up to an additional $20 "convenience fee" for the employees to deal with your dropoff the next morning. Just let me finish the truck return in the app regardless, and charge me the fee in the app. Stop making me jump through hoops.

Never left a review on an app before, but this drove me over the edge. Do not download this app. If you have to in a pinch, delete it as soon as you drop the truck off. My brand new galaxy S26 has been crashing about every 10-15 minutes. After days of wondering if I need to get a new phone, I go into my storage page in my settings, this trash heap of an "app" is flagged as doing too much work in the background, I deleted it, and zero issues since. This is so unoptimized its basically malware.

update - dropping to 1 star. The app doesn't even function. Just go to the counter. The number of things you have to decline when making a reservation is ludicrous - boxes, rental totes, dollies and pads, moving help, loading help, unloading help, and extra insurance, all on separate consecutive pages that load sooo slowly and make the process take 5 times longer than necessary. also, u-haul's increased prices make other vendors more cost effective.
