why does uhaul need an app?! I use them when I move... so, not frequently. every time I want to reserve something, it has been long enough that I have to update the godforsaken app. this is the perfect example of a company having an app when it is totally inappropriate for the product. Just have a website. that would be fine. but no, you have to use the app, which only sort of works, because that way uhaul can make it's customers do work they used to pay people to do. and you get to update it.

This app sucks. All I want to do is be added to the truck so I can drive it. Instead I have to consent to location tracking and receiving notifications, then it harvests my personal data, and then the truck configs can't be loaded because, "too many redirects," IN THE APP? Total waste of 30 minutes of my life. I should have been paid for the data I had to give up.

The app is barely functional when it comes to actually picking up and dropping off a truck. I wish I just made an in person appointment. While going through the process the app kept kicking me back to the order menu, and not letting me progress through the settings. They also needed to call a contact to verify your identity, without any prior warning. I ended up going inside, and the lady was able to access the reservation herself. The location had none of the utilities or tools I asked for. RIP
