Ratings and reviews

While using an alternative engine to Chromium is important, I still don't think Mozilla is doing enough to reverse the declining user base. For example, refusing to adopt WebUSB when even projects like LineageOS have built a web flashing tool based on that protocol is just stubborn; if people can't use something they want to use, they'll switch to another browser, end of the story. Also, the bookmarks management needs refinement, notably the ability to export.

I'm not entirely sure what happened with the design of the browser since the last update I had installed, but moving all the settings to a full-screen pop-up was not the right move. I used the quick-access navigation buttons often, and the small desktop-like pop-up for settings and extensions and the like from the corner were great. This feels like Mozilla are regressing in design. I chose Firefox because it's simple, customizable, and respects me as a consumer. I now question that choice.

I have loved Mozilla/Firefox on both PC and Android. On PC it's simply way more feature-laden than anything out there. Privacy controls are fine-grained. The range of useful add-ons covers everything I want. The Nightly version currently has very few add-ons, but the browser still rocks because it handles pages that are breaking Android Chrome and Opera--when pages act up, Nightly its my go-to!
