Still top stars because of balanced content. However, the app is not synced properly with notifications in Android (I expect its the same with IOS. Notifications show a title of interest to you but when you click on it, it doesn't let you go to the title but the main homepage from where you have to scroll and search until you find it. This is not effective as a GUI and lacks features that other news apps have: viz., clicking the link and opening up the news topic you wanted to open up.

I saw the add for 2$ access to WSJ. I signed up and paid my amazingly cheap 2$ and discovered the app only shows me headlines. Probably why it's so cheap. Handy all those headlines. Be nice to know what they mean but that's a different subscription. I went back and discovered the app excludes the tablet I saw the add in, excludes my phone( not a tablet) and is thus useless. I believe this is a scam. Even accepting the no tablet rule why can't I read it on my no tablet phone? Ripoff

Recently subscribed to WSJ and I'm enjoying it so far but what is really annoying is when you get a notification for an interesting article to read in your notification bar and tap on it, it will open the web browser and you can only read a few sentences before you have to sign in to read the whole article, because it opens web browser and not the app itself. Please fix this and will be a 5 star. Samsung Galaxy s24+
