Keepass2Android is an open source password manager application for Android. It is compatible with the popular KeePass 2.x Password Safe for Windows and aims at simple synchronization between devices.

Some highlights of the app:

It does what it's supposed to do. I like that I can view attachments (pics i.e.) within the app. I had just one flaw recently after using it for many years... I did change a pw within the app, the pw-file got stored in my Dropbox but next time I wanted to open it the app did 'synchronize' for hours without being able to open. The updated copy of the pw-file could be opened on my desktop though. Only a deinstallation and a following new installation of the app helped to use it again.

Unfortunately the usability has degraded a lot. Autofill rarely works anymore. Even when the database is unlocked and I hold down on a text field and manually click the autofill button, nothing happens. Very annoying. Sometimes it only fills in or suggests an entry, after I manually typed in the username. Why is it not suggesting the username from the start? I am actively looking for a replacement App now, even outside of the KeePass ecosystem, as usability is very poor.

Happily used it for many years. Stopped syncing with Google drive, strange error. Changed to GrapheneOS. Uninstalled keepass2android, installed open source OX drive, installed keepass2android again, system file picker, edited an entry in the database, closed keepass2android. Still, entry is missing, cloud unchanged. When choosing 'Synchronize database' it says, external file has been changed, if I want to reload. But it has not changed externally. In this way, I can use the app only readonly.
