Just a useless app. Tried registering a green tool by scanning the QR code on the seal found on the box. First attempt: it identifies it as a blue tool and asked me to log on to another Bosch page. Second attempt: doesn’t scan at all. Hopefully the tools are more reliable than the app.

The easiest, quickest way to register your tool for warranty purposes I've ever seen. And a free warranty extension from 2 years (which is quite reasonable for an affordable range) to 3 years. You'd be crazy not to, really!

EDIT3: Bosch have finally updated their systems. App now works EDIT2:, country was added by bosch after I'd registered and added a UK address. how else would a UK address be linked to a German account? And I have raised this with customer service, several times starting 4 weeks ago and still no repsonse EDIT Bosch have mistaken updated my account and linked it to Germany. App now totally unusable and no response from Bosch at all. Convenient access to available user manuals and extended warranty
