I am sure it is a fabulous app and would have doubled my data, actually more, if only I lowered my providers service plan to 1GB and checked to see if my phone was eSim compatible before signing up, but nope. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because I personally reserve that for service that is so good, it blows me right out of my shoes.

Used to be great last year, but now there's just something horribly wrong with it. This summer, the day I started using the eSim (EU plan), I started getting hundreds of spam emails a day. This, I admit, might be a coincidence. However, the connection was weak, even unusable for periods of time on a daily basis, which is the important thing. Last week, a single country plan I bought didn't work at all, and now I can't even delete the eSim. As such, this is all very suspicious...

I use eSIM for international traveling. Nomad was cheaper than other services that I used to use and the speed was okay. I used it twice so far. I bought the China plan this year. It automatically connected to China Unicom but I can switch to China Telecom too. Most importantly, it allowed me to visit sites that are blocked in China like Google and it showed my IP in Hong Kong. It is definitely a better choice than locally bought SIM cards due to this.
