Absolute scam of an app. Purchased their unlimited plan on a trip to Italy only to find out data gets capped at 512Kbps after the first GB. Forget about streaming, or working, or doing zoom calls. I travel constantly and purchase eSims all the time, and this has been by far the worth experience I have had. False advertising and shady naming of their plans. Reached to support twice only to have them ready the legal agreement back to me w/o offering any solution.

Unfortunately, speeds are unusably slow by 2024 standards (less than 1Mbit/s here in Paris). Update: after reaching out to support, it turns out that data is throttled after 1GB per day. This little "feature" is, needless to say, not very prominently advertised, except in the small print of the terms of service. Of note, even before the daily limit is reached, the service is still not exactly fast (6.66Mb down/1.30Mb up, again in Paris).

I purchased a sim for a trip to Costa Rica and was not able to get it to work. The connection worked about 5% of the time while we were driving, and cut out for the rest. Customer service was polite and led me through changing a bunch of settings but it didn't fix the issue. After a day of no service I switched over to the Airalo app, which worked right away. I asked for a refund but it was denied as I'd used 2% of my data plan (the limit is 1% I was told). Overall would not recommend.
