Ratings and reviews

Feel pretty tricked into wasting so much time building a website, only to find out that in order for half of the features to function you need to keep upgrading your plan. Not to mention the supposed free trail allows you to pretty much do nothing. I moved away from shopify because I was under the impression that square space would be cheaper, but I was clearly mistaken. I've already spent money before it became clear that my website can't sell any products so I've wasted a bunch of time &money

It's amazing how many Youtubers promote this company, despite all of Squarespace's incompetence. My website was displaying the default template for several weeks after I created my own page. The interface is extremely counterintuitive, you can press "edit button" color options show up, you preess a different color, it opens another page with the sane colors, you click the color you want again, nothing happens 😂 That's just what I can fit within 500 characters 💩🗑

specifically.... The squarespace built a website starting with a page, adding a space, and then adding blocks to that space. it appears that you can't add a block using the app. That means you can't add to your website on your phone. I think they should let you know that. Also... they tell you you can talk to a human by going to squarespace assistant. but don't tell you we're squarespace assistant is. I've certainly not found it either on the app or on a computer.
