The Lufthansa app uses an Android Foreground Service during the sign-out process to ensure that logout operations continue and complete successfully even if the app is moved to the background or closed by the user. This security feature helps ensure that active sessions are terminated and authentication data is removed from the device.

Ratings and reviews

The app is good, useful and pleasant to use... unless you need to pay. Everytime I get to the payment page, a message appears "Accessing the page is not possible". It's very frustrating when you take the time to add all the services you want and then lose everything, everytime. On the website, there's no problem... Please fix.

Tells you to buy baggage check-in buy can't purchase it. Has the option to upgrade the flight, but option goes nowhere. Application is not intuitive. Plus I would have imagine the seat to have a little more room, but actually very small, if the first row falls back their seat, it creates a domino effect as the space left between your face and the seat forward is so saw small that it is very uncomfortable. If you are far sighted you won't see anything.

The worst experience ever, data can not be saved, tickets after check-in are not displayed, which makes the trio more complicated. Got rebooked during the last flight, and the tickets from the partner airline could not be displayed either. How come that such an airline is not capable of designing an easy app???
