Aside from paying artists nothing and leaning into GenAI (which is why I'm cancelling), this app is incredibly unreliable - Buffers, hangs and crashes constantly, can't find the signal, has to be opened and click "retry" to restart the music every time it loses connection (and half the time that still doesn't work). Worst of all "downloaded" music won't load or play without a data connection 🙃 and infuriatingly the error page will have a 'go to downloads' link for endless loop mania.

it used to be a really good alternative to Spotify until they started to mess with it. Now artists are no longer in alphabetical order, albums by the same artist are no longer in order and the app itself stops working even when in offline mode 27/08/2026 Another update on Deezer and even more problems! Artists still haven't been put into alphabetical order, can't view ANY album when I click on it - even when I've downloaded it. JUST STOP TRYING TO MAKE IT BETTER AND FIX THE PROBLEMS!!!!

With a stable connection the app is great. Wasn't expecting it, but music in the car is noticeably clearer and better than Spotify. Simple and effective. My only complaint is that with a bad connection, or if you have run out of data, the UI is very slow and almost unusable, and it won't even allow you to get to your downloads unless you force your phone into flight mode, at which point the UI adapts and works again. Please fix to stop my daughter moaning at me and I'll give the app 5 stars
