I love this app and use it a lot when I want to search fast and won't need to bookmark, or I use it to read articles because it gets rid of so many different types of ads in a no fuss, no muss kind of way. All I have to do to read an article in it is share it from whatever browser (or even app) it started out in and magically the site is readable, instead of being like cancer with ads metastasizing all over the place.

If you're like me, you're tired of seeing an Amazon ad today morning for a product that you searched on Google last night. You're sick of seeing Facebook ads for something you searched on a whim with little interest. You're sick of all the ad trackers and analytics trackers that slow the browser down. If you're anything like that, this is the browser for you. It's super fast because it loads only the essentials. It's a bare bones browser using which I now do 90% of my browsing. A must have on your phone. You'll still need a full browser, but only for about 10-20% of the time. Default this.

I feel like Focus doesn't serve a real purpose anymore. The app size has gone from small 5MB to now 50MB. A 10x increase. It's gone from the go to light browser (which was it's purpose) to now a regular browser, except without any basic features of a browser (like tabs). I'm not sure if it even deletes my browsing data anymore because it clearly keeps website cache (if you check it's size after a few hours browsing). The only appeal I see to it now is built-in ad blocking. Instead, now there's Firefox Rocket. Which is an enhanced version of what Focus was a year ago.
