At idealista, we offer the most comprehensive app for buying, selling or renting any type of property in Spain, Italy and Portugal.

If you want to sell or rent out a property using our app, you'll have all the tools you need to list it and find a buyer or tenant in record time. And if you're on the hunt for a home, parking space, room to rent or another type of property, we have over a million listings ready for you to explore.

Here are just a few of the things you can do with our app if you're searching for a property:

• Draw your preferred area directly on the map. Open the idealista map and draw with your finger the area where you'd like to live. All available listings will appear instantly, along with their prices, so you can compare them at a glance. It's that simple.

• Find properties available near your current location.

• Save your favourite homes and properties. And with our collaborative lists, you can share your favourites with friends and family. Everyone can add notes, suggest new favourites or remove the ones you're no longer interested in.

• Set up alerts and be the first to know. If you're looking for a room or a new home, you know how important it is to act quickly. Once you've saved a search, turn on instant alerts — that way, every time a new listing matches your criteria or a property drops in price, you'll get a notification straight to your phone.

• Chat directly with advertisers to ask questions or arrange a viewing.

• Create a tenant profile. Advertisers tend to prioritise tenants with a completed profile, giving you a better chance of landing the property you want.

Ratings and reviews

A very good app to search for properties in Italy / Sicily / Capri. Unfortunately, it does not show what the taxes on the properties are. Nor does it show how long a property has been on the market, the original listing price, etc ..

International Erasmus students, especially non-EU students, should be careful with Idealista. After leaving the property in good condition, the landlord may agree to refund your caution fee but stop responding once you leave the country. Idealista will refuse to assist, telling you to resolve it yourself. Meanwhile, the same agencies will continue advertising to international students. It feels like Idealista prioritises agency fees over protecting its users.

for spain at least, great for seeing what the market is like but many places aren't listed online (only through a local property manager with a sign out front not online at all) and people that do post here don't seem to like working through email.

What’s new

Our chat has been given a makeover and is now much more useful for you. You can now use it to send and receive contracts, plans, booking or deposit documents, “nota simples”, and so on.

This means you won’t need to leave the chat to share these documents, nor will you have to rely on other apps to do so. You can therefore keep benefiting from the security our app offers at every stage of the transaction.
