This messaging app has a really tiny app size compared to the competition, making it really fast to download. The SMS backup technique is helpful when you have to change your device, or it gets stolen. Ratings and reviews

Loads very slowly. Free version runs an ad before it opens. Even after the ad runs all the way and you get to where there's an "x" to close it, closing it takes you to ad's website, not the app. Paid version is a subscription, not a one-time fee. I might have paid for it if it was a one-time fee and not a subscription. Would have liked to give the app a fair try. If they switch to a one-time fee model, I will.

Originally free with no restrictions, but that changed with the last update. I get that people need to earn money, but suddenly this app is bombarding me with full-screen ads with sound before I can read the text. I don't use SMS enough to justify the new subscription fee to remove adverts, so will uninstall. Edit: The product was free to use and without ads when I installed it, the last update removed that. I never agreed to a free trial version.

Im giving it 3 stars because in order for the obnoxious ads to be removed you have to pay and THEN a pop up tp rate them shows up everytime you send a message even though you paid! REALLY damn anoying. And only have options to pay weekly and not monthly? Seriously????? Update: keept crashing my phone. DELETED
