11/24/25 update: my Android will not allow me to open this app due to a "bug". I'll give it day/2, but will likely be app shopping soon. 1 day in I am quite satisfied with this ad-free messaging app. It is very similar to the app I've used for 10 years and which is being retired this week. The one function I miss is the 'I'm Driving' auto response to all incoming texts when I'm on the road - I used that a lot! But, for a fee-free, ad- free app, I'll gladly adapt. Thank you, Wize 💚

I just installed this and I'm loving it. It's insanely small in storage, less than a tenth the size of Textra, which has been my main SMS app for a long time now. I do have a very short wish list before it's perfect: the ability to delete or archive messages after a certain number of them rather than just a certain number of days (though don't lose the days option); the ability to select the system file browser to attach photos instead of only galleries (I need sorting options). Donating soon.

Seems stable enough, no intrusive ads, no dropped or lost texts in the week I've been using the app. My only gripe is the inability to send videos, even short ones. Also no voice message capability. I guess that's the tradeoff for being fairly stable, is texting like I'm living in 2011. *Edit* welp there it goes. Apparently the app now freezes and crashes when i reach a certain amount of texts in a conversation. Might be a cache or memory issue. Who knows.
