Emergency Calls

CounterPath's Bria mobile products provide handling designed to redirect emergency calls to the Native Cellular dialer when possible on a best reasonable commercial efforts basis, however this functionality is also dependent on the operating system of the mobile phone which is outside of our control and subject to change at any time. As a result, the official position of CounterPath is that CounterPath's Bria product is not intended, designed, or fit for placing, carrying or supporting Emergency Calls. CounterPath will not be liable for any costs or damages arising either directly nor indirectly from the use of the software for Emergency Calls. Using Bria as a default dialer may interfere with dialing emergency services.

Ratings and reviews

Been using this for a while now. Every time an inbound call comes in and I'm doing something else that uses the audio (like watching YouTube or listening to Spotify), the microphone won't work in the call and I'll have to call the person back. This is a pretty big issue. I've tried updating, restarting my phone, etc. Kind of defeats the point of having it on my phone. Still doing troubleshooting on my end and if I'm able to find a fix, I'll change my review.

Without even login to the app, it took 7% battery charge in 24 hours. With login it was even more. (Double digit). I haved received or made a single call from the app yet. - revision: the support team has responded immediately to the problem. Though the problem is still onging. I have to give the full points to the support team. They are doing the best.

I intended to download Bria Solo, but the misleading new names of Bria apps led me to download this one (teams). Consequently, I created a Bria teams account, unaware of the trap that I can't use it for the Solo app. This is so customer/user unfriendly to put it mildly. Bria should have the option for a user to delete his Teams account, so that he can use it for Bria Solo. Update: I increased my rating from 1 to 3 because support deleted the account upon my request.
