HapSee Mate is a home security mobile phone software, mainly used to care for the elderly, children, pets.

It shuts off my mic & alarms if open in background. My phone shows a notification that says "unable to play during a call" when my alarms go off. I have to force close the app to make it work again. My wife and I proved it today while on a video chat. I opened the app and she could no longer hear me, until I went into my open apps and force closed this app. As long as this app is open in the background, my mic and alarms are useless. Even during calls.

App is buggy and non intuitive. It won't let me turn off the alarm so now I have to keep my phone on silent my whole vacation. There's no user manual except for camera setup so I can't figure out the difference between alarm notification and siren. So far both play and obnoxious sound. On the plus, the streaming and camera controls always work.

What has happened to this!! Used to work fine and set up easily if ever unplugged or power cut. Kept an eye on my dog for nearly 3 years but then needed to use it recently after being home so long through pandemic and find the app has completely altered and it WILL NOT set up no matter what I try! It hasn't saved my user information or WiFi info and non of the "steps" to connect work. Absolutely wasted now sitting there unused!
