(General Bicycle Calculators)
🔻 GEAR RATIOS

🔻 GEAR VELOCITY:
The gear ratio, combined with the circumference of your wheel and tyre determines how fast you will travel with optimal cadence.
🔻 GEAR INCHES (METERS OF DEVELOPMENT):
The gear ratio, combined with the circumference of your wheel and tyre determines how far you will travel with each revolution of the cranks.

REAL TIME CALCULATORS:

(Bicycle Calculators that work in Real Time as you ride your Bike; Uses GPS)

works great for gear ratios. I wish there was a quick way to change bikes without constantly having to go to the settings to pick a different bike. One glitch i found is that it will only remember the names of the first two bikes. The names for bikes 3 and 4 will reset to default, but fortunately the rest of the configuration is maintained.

Why aren't there better gear calculators out there? This one is functional and ok. It could use more modern standard tire sizes, but the common MTB cassettes seem to be there. This biggest thing missing from all of these apps is the ability to easily compare setups, I don't actually care what the numbers are independently, I want to campare possible changes. Switching between bikes or changing components isn't fluid enough for making comparisons. A side by side option would be best.

I had installed this app in August last year, and ran it parallel to my E-Bikes display which I had finessed into an accuracy of +/- .2-.4 mph, it was...uninspiring, and very "laggy." I got a new "moped style" Ebike over the holidays, and its display/firmware were utterly hopeless. I gutted the electronics and replaced them with products I know are accurate and reliable. Your power estimator is surprisingly accurate, even at 2.2Kw. Way better!! The GPS is more stable. Good job.
