About this app

The NOQ app is Malaysia’s first HIV prevention and gender-affirming health service delivery app just for transgender women. This app was developed as part of a collaboration between Yale University, University of Connecticut, and University of Malaya. NOQ is available to transgender women who enroll in our research study.
With the NOQ app, users can book appointments and visit your doctor right in the app, send chat messages to your doctor’s office, and get notifications and reminders about your care. NOQ also lets you view your lab test results, manage your medications, and access other health information. Designed just for transgender women, NOQ provides discrete door-to-door delivery of HIV self-testing kits and gender-affirming hormones. You can even earn and redeem points for completing in-app activities.

NOQ is a confidential health service, too. Your information is secure and we take your privacy seriously.
