From banking to investing, loans and funeral cover, the Old Mutual Banking App puts a world of finance in the palm of your hands. Transact on the go with your Old Mutual Money Account, check your balances, submit funeral claims, and apply for a loan and additional funeral cover, and much more.

While we continue to make the Banking App a fully featured mobile solution and add more functionality, we’d love to hear your thoughts on how we can improve. HOW IT WORKS
Sign up for a Money Account online at www.moneyaccount.co.za or at any Old Mutual branch. Alternatively, you can contact the Old Mutual Money Account call centre (0860 445 445) for more information.
Lastly, register for Old Mutual Rewards at www.secure.rewards.oldmutual.co.za. You can then access all accounts – Money Account and Rewards - on your Old Mutual Banking App.

WHAT’S INSIDE
Money Account
The Old Mutual Money Account is an account unlike any other. A banking account that gives you two accounts in one: a fully functional day-to-day SWIPE Account and a SAVE Account which invests your savings in a Unit Trust:
● SWIPE Account lets you Tap and pay, withdraw cash, and make payments just as you would with a regular banking account.
● SAVE is a unique savings feature that allows you to save as much (or as little) as you want, in a Unit Trust account.

The features of the Money Account include:
● Deposit cash into your Money Account at any Shoprite, Checkers, Usave, Pick n Pay or Boxer store.
● Buy airtime, data, and electricity
● Pay and manage beneficiaries
● Quick Pay - pay other Money Account holders for free using their mobile number
● Send Money - make a payment to a mobile number
● Access the money in your SAVE Account ANYTIME without giving notice
● Transfer money between your SWIPE and SAVE accounts
● View accounts balances and transaction history
● Switch card on/off

Personal loans
● Apply for an Old Mutual personal loan
● View your loan balance if you have one

Funeral cover and claims
● Apply for Old Mutual Funeral cover
● Submit a Funeral claim

Other features
You can also sign up for free to learn, earn and redeem Old Mutual Rewards points with Old Mutual Rewards from within the Old Mutual Banking App.

Ratings and reviews

After being updated on 17/4/2024 I was able to open my OM app about 3 times . On the 3rd attemp I tried to transfer money from savings to swipe . After a long time it just went round and round in circles and then stopped and just showed me unexpected problem . I have debit orders which normally come off automatically . It will cost me a lot if my money is not transferred in time into my swipe from savings . Please treat as urgent . At the moment I cannot get into my OM app .

Since I downloaded the app, it can not verify my phone number, which is very frustrating, and cause delays using the application even going into the bank. The wifi always off-line or no networking is very poor,

This app acts as if it's having a stroke with every update, you people add unnecessary features. all I want is to transfer or pay bills. On pay day it is a nightmare to even attempt to get into the app
