Ratings and reviews

I'm getting MUCH faster speeds with this as opposed to PdaNet. I was getting disconnected randomly as mentioned by others despite doing all the usual settings (turn battery optimization to unrestricted, etc) still disconnected until I turn always on display. It hasn't disconnected one time as long as the display is on. Update, after running 2 days without disconnecting, it started disconnecting randomly on the computer side. Knocked off 2 stars.

App works fine, but you (the developer) need to set the minimum Android version to 6.0 or later in the Play Store so that the app can be downloaded from the Play Store. The store disables the option to download apps that have Android 5.1 or older listed as their minimum requirement nowadays, so I had to install it via an APK instead, which seems to make updates to the app through the Play Store not work. Apart from that, no complaints.

The app was a little confusing to setup but so far it seems to be working perfectly. Just turn on your hotspot wireless connection first then run the server and client app over it. Edit: It seems this program works a bit too well. AT&T has started suspending my wireless account due to the excessive use. Not really the apps fault but users should be careful.
