Ratings and reviews

I'm getting MUCH faster speeds with this as opposed to PdaNet. I was getting disconnected randomly as mentioned by others despite doing all the usual settings (turn battery optimization to unrestricted, etc) still disconnected until I turn always on display. It hasn't disconnected one time as long as the display is on. Update, after running 2 days without disconnecting, it started disconnecting randomly on the computer side. Knocked off 2 stars.

It worked beautifully, but only when I had it tethered wired. When I used it in wireless mode, it used all my hotspot data even though the vpn connection was working, I know this because when I tried to use my hotspot data wired with the vpn, it worked even though I was out of hotspot data. This app is nearly perfect, and I honestly liked using it more tethered anyway because it made my internet connection a lot more stable.

The app was a little confusing to setup but so far it seems to be working perfectly. Just turn on your hotspot wireless connection first then run the server and client app over it. Edit: It seems this program works a bit too well. AT&T has started suspending my wireless account due to the excessive use. Not really the apps fault but users should be careful.
