Ratings and reviews

The app prevents unwanted app access to the internet. Which is useful for blocking disruptive apps and preventing accidental installations while uninstalling problematic software. It does not prevent the installation of apps, which WOULD be better. However some things still need to be whitelisted for full functionality. But at least it doesn't need to be for every single one. ;-) Twitter for one. I would definitely recommend white listing any financial apps, or video streaming apps. plz fix

I’m really enjoying Protectstar Firewall. The option to use Quad9 DNS protects privacy and security without collecting telemetry or showing ads—something everyone should consider. Excellent work! A couple of issues: switching my VPN slot from another provider to Protectstar cuts internet access unless I toggle it back on, and the Pro services are quite pricey. Because of these issues, I’ve given it a 3-star rating.

Hello, I’ve been using the firewall app for 3 months and it’s great firewall app. Please add an auto-block feature for newly installed apps to prevent unwanted installs, and an option to disable battery optimization since it sometimes stops the firewall. These features will improve security for all users. 🤔🤔🤔🤔
