Lots of free audiobooks for classics that have no current copyright holders, usually with competent readers. But... it does a poor job of properly bookmarking where you were in books. It kept spamming my notifications for no good reasons, until I spent the time in trial and error in figuring out how to stop this spam, without also turning off audio controls for what's currently playing. Also seems like a lot of ads and "pro" features built on free volunteer work?

After the first book I wanted to come out of pocket for this. FREE THE BOOKS WHILE I DON'T HAVE TIME TO READ! My favorite app now!.......Chapter 4 Alice in Wonderland, I could listen to that lady talk about nothing all day. I can't think of her name but what a lovely voice!

Many great authors from every time period and genre. Crisp clear audio for an easy listening experience and a clean app interface. The ability to download your audiobook is superb! The few adds (mostly for Audible) are minor and easy to ignore. I have noticed that some titles that offer the text book for you to read along with give you the text from a different book entirely, so be ready for that. In all, I give this app a solid four 🌟.
