BEWARE: Bad support and bad instructions! I carefully followed their Android instructions for installing the eSIM without activation, but the instructions do not work on my phone. I can not turn off the eSIM unless I first exit airplane mode, but that would immediately activate the eSIM. Their instructions assume that I can turn off the eSIM while in airplane mode. Their support basically blames me and says tough luck. Refused to offer any remedy at all.

Very good app with excellent prices and a top up option. Sim activates automatically when you connect to the local network. The connection speed was good, but the coverage was not (probably due to local network operators). I used it when travelling to the UK (Scotland). I could choose between EE, Vodafone and 3 UK. Dew to poor coverage I had to manually change operators. But when connected to the network, especially when not travelling in a car, the speed was great. I highly recommend the app.

Pixel 7a. Germany. A disaster. Signed up for the cheapest plan, 1GB, to test before using further plans. Installation and activation was simple. However, in well under an hour and me doing almost nothing the 1GB was rapidly used up. At one point I just watched the usage meter going up without me doing anything. Tried to contact support but their Zendesk chat is flawed on my phone as it constantly screen refreshes and loses the thread. Resorted to email but they gave up responding. I gave up.
