I used to be able to log into the app. Now, I'm stuck on perpetual loading. I tried discussing this with someone with suport, but I never heard back from them after a little back-and-forth in which I shared the technical details of my phone and the steps I took to make additional attempts to log in.

Keeps demanding that you turn location services on, and refuses to cooperate if you don't. If you turn it off and say "no" to thenpop-up asking you to turn it on, the app just closes itself. Obviously would be necessary for using the map, but there are other features where location is not required so it seems absurd that the app would force you to enable it.
