Enhance your cycling experience with the Hammerhead Companion App! Access your Android phone’s calls, texts, and notifications on your Karoo, as well as upload rides, sync routes, and much more, all without the need for Wi-Fi.

- Ride Upload: Automatically upload your ride to your favorite training platforms like Strava, Ride With GPS, TrainingPeaks, and more!
- Route To Point: Pull up Google or Apple Maps on your phone and send a pinned location directly to your Karoo via the Companion App.

Live track does not work properly. This is from AI and in my view is seriously bad for my k3 'compatibility bug specific to the app/Samsung Fold OS combination. ​Since we have exhausted all user-accessible system settings: ​We know the notification toggle is broken/greyed out. ​We know Live Track fails mid-ride due to background restriction. ​We cannot manually set the app to "Unrestricted" because the menu is missing/uncooperative.'

The application itself is working just as it should. I have not encountered any problems or difficulties with it.

This app is no longer compatible with Samsung S23 (and probably other Samsung phones), so you can't receive emails, etc, notifications on the Karoo. The Companion app doesn't appear in the app notifications list at all, and under the app settings, it shows "all notifications from this app are blocked" Other apps have also had this problem and been fixed by their developers (eg, Sure Petcare), who noted that they had to fix a permission issue with Android. Shame because it used to work well.
