About this app

TO Move is compatible with NFC-enabled Android phones.

With TO Move, you can purchase and use GTT tickets for buses, trams, and the metro in Turin, in the urban and suburban areas, and in the extra-urban area. You can also read the contents of your BIP smart card.

The interactive map lets you see the location of vehicles in real time and view stop information directly from the app, including schedules and vehicle characteristics. You can also read any warnings or diversions for individual lines.

You can purchase the following types of tickets: City (valid for 100 minutes on the GTT urban and suburban network and a single metro ride); Daily (valid until the end of service on the day of first validation, on GTT buses in the urban and suburban network and on the metro); Multidaily (consisting of 7 Daily tickets, not shareable); Tour 48/72 hours (tickets valid from the first validation and usable by one person only); GTT bus tickets for suburban transport (single and multiple 6-ride tickets) with variable fares depending on the time slot.

TO Move allows you to use your travel tickets via NFC technology, now available on Android smartphones. GTT uses NFC because it guarantees absolutely secure data transmission.

The NFC antenna is essential for TO MOVE to read smart cards and beep tickets purchased with the app. If you want to use TO Move, check that your device supports NFC technology and remember to keep it activated when you want to use TO Move.

Before boarding public transport, remember to buy your travel ticket. It's very simple: go to the "Buy new ticket" section. Select "Use," get on board, and beep!

Terrible app, clunky and old fashioned, constant crashes, completely unreliable. By far the worst of any cities I have visited. Daily ticket purchased in app did not appear even though card was charged. I cleared the cache, restarted the phone, etc. to no avail. I had to pay for each trip separately on the bus, which was significantly more expensive. It's a shame that in 2025 they can't come up with a decent app.

Problem with using payment cards from Google pay. Must set up and add a credit card to GTT TO. Don't really want to do that. Can't remove a credit card from GTT TO once you've added it, can't replace it with a different one. Daily tickets aren't honored for the full day. Once you use it in the first trip it's gone. This could be such a useful and important app. All of my problems have been reported by other people many times yet the app isn't being improved. Shameful.

Buongiorno, è possibile cancellare i dati della carta di pagamento già salvata tramite la sezione "Impostazioni" - "Cancella dati utente". Per l'anomalia di utilizzo dei biglietti Daily, sono in corso le verifiche per la risoluzione. Cordiali saluti - GTT

It just doesn't work reliably... EDIT: Ok, reading the reviews, this feature was reported 6/6/2024 so it probably will never be fixed: as a tourist with non-Italian phone number I can't buy tickets while on mobile data. The tickets to buy just won't show up and it fails with "Ops, something went wrong." The buying works when in an Italian wifi network. As this fatal issue was reported over a year ago, how can it still exist? I am using the Wetaxi app to buy daily tickets now.
