Ratings and reviews

In its current state, Bluesky isn't perfect. Image compression is pretty bad, there's no gif support, notifications need more settings, no images in DMs, and no private accounts. However, everything else is such a breath of fresh air. The community and content algorithms are better, posts can be curated much easier, and the people are just nicer. If you wanna ditch the decaying husk of twitter, there's no better time than now. It's only gonna get better.

While I love Bluesky for being twice as better than X (formerly Twitter), it does show it's flaws like your blocklist being public, remove follower feature, custom GIF support, etc. While it's not perfect at the time I'm writing this, I can honestly live without. This app has a lot to go through and the changes being made are slowly improving in the best way possible.

A decent app for those tired of X (Twitter), but the uploading feature needs to be fixed as far as profile pics go. Edit: Raised the rating up to 2 stars! Deleted the former bird app and enjoyed every minute of it!! With what's going on with current events, it's like a breath of fresh air, I even found some refugees there 👍🏾

What's new

- You can now compose threads with multiple posts!
- "Self-labeling" in the composer is now more clear, and includes a "Graphic Media" option
- Some other small improvements to the composer UI
- Some visual improvements to link cards, images, and many other parts of the UI
- Tuned haptics
- A couple of bugfixes for video playback
- Some fixes to images which stop them from getting "squished"
