Notifications are not coming through unless I open the beeper app and bring it to the foreground. Seems the app isn't running in the background or something. I've made sure battery optimization is disabled for the app. I've even locked the app in the recent apps so it doesn't get killed when clearing recent apps. Not sure what else to do to get notifications to show up without having to open the app.

It's been a game changer! I can use Instagram messenger from here without even using Instagram. Although there are some setbacks for me, such as if I sent a picture/gif/video through this app, it takes a insufferablely long time for it to be sent, and sometimes it just gives you and error randomly. Voice messages works pretty great however. I cannot receive calls through it, but I know it's not a feature I was expecting to have to begin with. The UI is very smooth and user friendly.

Hi, one of the best apps I have. Everyone should have it in order to spend less time watching reels. But, I think there is a little problem with notifications when messages are sent during the night and the phone is off. I don’t receive the notifications when I turn my phone back on (with a connection, of course). The notifications only show up when I open the app while connected. Could you please fix this issue?
