I was a loyal Firefox user to the point where it was just second nature to set as my default on all devices. For years I forgave the bugs an increasingly slower speeds. The final straw was when Firefox started eating through multiple gigs of mobile data a day for no reason. This was very normal private web browsing, no downloads or streaming. Troubleshooting again failed and I decided to try this browser. It was an easy adjustment, works better, and doesn't mysteriously eat data.

I like the privacy features and have tried migrating to Brave as my default browser after learning Opera is now Chinese-owned. But Brave is buggy and nonfunctional at times. Often jumps back to a page/tab you just left when you try to select or edit text in another page. It randomly shuts down or closes tabs for no apparent reason. I'm going to try it a little longer but if these issues persist , I'll try another browser. Would be improved with a reader mode for pages that allow it too.

This browser appears to be the safest, here and on the desktop. There's nothing I hate worst than ads popping up all over my internets after a search. With Google Chrome, if I search for purple bikini bottoms, it shows up on FB and other ad feeds. This seems to stop that. It's a big plus that this app doesn't FC and the interface is tolerable.
