I've had the app about one day as directed by my dietician. You would think basic items to search, Salmon for example (fresh from Costco USA) would be easy to find the details but only canned salmon is available. Which I don't eat it. Also, when I'm searching salmon things like almond and oranges are coming up. I do wish it was more global friends and user friendly (33yo). I'm going to try it for another week before I make a decision to remove it.

Hi Kyree, thanks for the feedback. Some foods are listed more generally (e.g. instead of salmon, you can find 'Fish, all varieties'), especially if these are foods that are naturally low FODMAP. We do appreciate the feedback and can look into other wording. Please reach out to us at enquiry@monashfodmap.com if you have any other questions.

This app is easy to use and helps me maintain a low fodmap diet. I was resistant to purchase it and used other apps, but I found that to be able to trust that the information on food amounts, stacking, and which sugar is the culprit, I need this app. I like the color coding system and the diary-symptom tracker. If I traveled, the multinational food look-up would be great. I'd like to be able to look up more food combinations, but overall, I'm thankful for the app.

Hi there, thanks for your review. It's great to hear you find the app so useful!

Diary Disaster! It cannot keep an accurate account of the food diary. The app saves on the wrong date and is impossible to use consistently. It makes it quite frustrating. And it would be awesome if the app communicated between devices but it needs to be entered separately. However the food info is great and will be helpful in transitioning into the reintroduction phase. But I am considering going back to paper & pen to monitor my progress since the diary is worthless.
