O aplikaciji

Stringwise is a fast, accurate tuner that opens straight to tuning. No account, no sign-up, and no subscription needed to tune — the chromatic tuner and every instrument's standard tuning are free.

🎸 TUNE ANY STRING INSTRUMENT
• Guitar — standard, Drop D, half step down (free), plus 7-string guitar
• Bass — 4, 5 and 6-string, including low B
• Ukulele — standard (high G) and low G
• Violin, viola, cello and double bass
• Mandolin and 5-string banjo
• Chromatic mode for any instrument or voice

🎯 ACCURATE, EVEN ON LOW STRINGS
Phone microphones barely hear the low E of a bass, so many tuners jump an octave or show the wrong string. Stringwise reads the pitch from the whole sound of the string, checks it against your instrument's strings, and holds steady on low E and low B. Viola and cello C strings are recognised as C, not as another string.
• Cents shown to one decimal place close to the target
• Automatic string detection, or tap a string to pin it
• "In tune" only when the note stays in tune, with a gentle vibration
• Needle display with a clear in-tune zone; cents and Hz always visible

🔊 HEAR THE NOTE
Long-press any string to play a reference tone and tune by ear.

🎼 BUILT FOR MUSICIANS
• Reference pitch A4 from 415 to 466 Hz (442 for orchestras, 415 for baroque)
• Note names as C D E, C D E with H, or Do Re Mi
• Choose how strict "in tune" is: ±3, ±5 or ±10 cents
• High-sensitivity mode for quiet instruments
• Free metronome with tap tempo, 1–12 beats per bar and accent
