O aplikaciji

excessive capitalisation._

HoodProof is an offline kitchen exhaust cleaning log for hood cleaning
contractors, restaurant facilities managers and multi-site operators. It maps
an exhaust system zone by zone, records grease readings under the standard the
site is worked to, pairs before and after photographs to each zone, and
produces the cleaning report the customer is handed. The core logging and PDF
workflow needs no signal and no account.

Two standards, two different measurements

NFPA 96 and BESA TR19 Grease both look at grease deposits, but the measurement
method, the units and the decision rules differ. NFPA reads accumulated grease
depth with a grease depth gauge comb. TR19 uses wet film thickness testing, and
deposit thickness testing where deposits are hard or carbonised. HoodProof
renders one standard's scale at a time, labelled with its instrument, so a
reading is never entered against the wrong rule. Each site is set to its own
standard, and every visit stamps the standard it was measured under, so
switching a site never re-judges a record you have already signed.

The figures it works to

• NFPA 96: cleaning is required where a measured depth of 0.078 in (2,000 µm)
is observed, or 0.125 in (3,175 µm) in a fan housing, and surfaces are cleaned
to a maximum of 0.002 in (50 µm). HoodProof judges the fan housing against its
own figure rather than the surface one.

• TR19 Grease: the mean must not exceed 200 µm between scheduled cleans, a
point at 500 µm or above needs local or spot cleaning, and representative
post-clean measurements must not exceed 50 µm.

Readings are compared against the limits of the standard you selected. Neither
standard defines a whole-system pass or fail, so the summary the app shows is
its own, of the most severe surface, and it says so.

What it does

• Six zones per system, from the hood canopy and baffle filters to the upblast
fan bowl. Six zones is HoodProof's workflow, not a division either standard
prescribes.

• Every zone is measured twice: once on arrival, once after cleaning. The
post-clean reading is what verifies the clean, and an event with none is
recorded as not verified rather than passed.

• A measurement dial that shows the active standard's scale only, with the
figures that standard sets marked on the face.

• Before and after photographs paired to each zone.

• An inaccessible section register. Log each section you could not reach, why,
and a photograph, with the corrective recommendation. It is reproduced on the
report under its own heading, so the record shows exactly what the report
covers.

• A service checklist covering belt tension, hinge kit, electrical disconnect
and lockout, grease drip cup and access panel gaskets. It is HoodProof's
checklist, not a complete NFPA 96 inspection.

• A cleaning report as a PDF, carrying the zone reading table, the photo pairs,
the inaccessible register, your company details and the technician signature.
Plus a printable hood service label showing the clean date, the next due date
and your company name, address and phone.

• Inspection intervals from NFPA 96: monthly for solid fuel, quarterly for
high-volume, semi-annually for moderate-volume and annually for low-volume
operations. NFPA schedules the inspection and cleaning follows from what it
finds, so HoodProof tracks the inspection due date and records the clean
separately. Reminders at 30, 14 and 3 days.

What it is not

HoodProof is a record-keeping and measurement-logging tool. It reduces
paperwork and organises cleaning evidence. It does not substitute for a
competent inspection, it does not certify anything, and a report it produces
covers only the sections actually accessed and recorded. It is not affiliated
with NFPA or BESA.

Standard tier covers one site with one exhaust system and three cleaning
visits, and shows ads. Records you have already made stay readable.

Šta je novo

First release.

An offline kitchen exhaust cleaning log. Map a system zone by zone, record grease readings under NFPA 96 or BESA TR19 Grease, pair before and after photos to each zone, and hand the customer a cleaning report.

The standard is stamped on every visit, so switching a site never re-judges a record you have already signed. Sections you could not reach get their own register, printed under its own heading on the report.
