Privacy & Permissions

Pathnote uses your current location to track your visited areas.
However, your precise location data is immediately converted into coarse grid units within the app, and raw latitude/longitude coordinates are never stored or transmitted.
Only the grid areas you’ve visited are saved, and no data is ever sent to external servers.
All records remain entirely on your device, with privacy built into the core design.
