The Microsoft SwiftKey beta app for Android will not replace the regular Microsoft SwiftKey app on your phone, but will be downloaded as a second app so you can switch between the two for comparison.

EDIT; Reducing to 1 star. I was right about the trajectory; ORIGINAL:This used to be a five star app with an uncanny ability to predict what I wanted to type. Now, it fights with me all the time, insisting on correcting properly-typed text into actual gibberish even when I am repeating a phrase it should have learned via personalization. I can't find anything better at prediction or that has arrow keys, so I am sticking with this for now, but I really don't like this app's current trajectory.

Hands down the best keyboard out there, & I've tried a lot! I love the customization capabilities that allow the user to select the color, layout, & more of the keyboard. One bit of info to note——for some odd reason the so-called beta version of this keyboard app is the one to use, meaning it's the better version. Don't choose the regular version, because that version doesn't have several features that the beta version has. Trust me, because there IS a difference——several, in fact.

The once awesome Keyboard has went downhill with Ms. It no longer seems to learn words and even replaces words that are correctly spelled and used. It's extremely frustrating. Omg fix text prediction. It's like someone who isn't fluent in English took over. It swaps correctly spelled words with the incorrect spelling within context. Laggy when typing!! PS, put some effort into the what's new. For example, be specific about what you changed, added, fixed.
