Its pretty good but still has isues. At 3pm 22/2/24, the app said it was 25.6 degrees at Bellbrae, 3228. I know for a fact that it was 38 degrees in the shade on our deck. I have noticed this temperature discrepancy before. Also when I tried leaving feedback on my iPhone, the keyboard obscures part of the screen and I couldn't see what I was writing. Finally, I have asked about barometric pressure but that must be too hard for BOM.

Mostly works as advertised. Provides good temperature, wind and rain forecasts. One thing that's a little weird is that it always shows 0% chance of rain in the hourly forecast, even when the written forecast says there will definitely be rain. It used to show this data but I've noticed it's been gone for the last few months. (Checked on multiple Android devices)

It still doesn't reliably download the rain radar images. So you check the app before going for a walk, see what appears to be a clear day, go for a walk and get caught in a downpour. There is no way to know it's failed to download or it really is a clear day, and there is no refresh button. So the recourse is to kill the app and restart, so it's forced to reload. Even then you can't be sure, so if it's a gloomy day outside it's best to do the kill and restart jig a few times.

Thank you for letting us know of this experience with the radar and your preference for the original format. We are looking at ways to improve the current experience offered.

What’s new

This release introduces warnings on the map. You can now see a wide range of active warnings and the areas they apply to. Tap on the map to get warning details. We've also fixed some bugs including a fix for crashes on Android 6 & 7 devices.
