About this app

1.The App is for service pensioners and family pensioners.

2.The App works using Aadhaar based face, finger print or iris Authentication

A) Using app with Face Authentication (available in India only)

i) no external Biometric device is required, only AadhaarFaceRD service is
required.

ii) one can download AadhaarFaceRD from Google Play Store; search for
AadhaarFaceRd in Google Play Store ( Please note AadhaarFaceRD
service is available and works only in India )

B) Using app with Finger Print/Iris device

i) A registered biometric device is required either a finger print scanner or
iris scanner

ii) RD Service of the respective biometric device is required and can be
downloaded from Google Play Store

3. On successful submission of JeevanPramaan i.e Digital Life Certificate (DLC) a unique Pramaan-Id is generated and confirmatory SMS sent. Pramaan-id may be used for future reference and requirement if any.

4. Digital Life Certificate is automatically accessed by the Pension Disbursing Office for processing and hence it is not required to submit hard copy of DLC to the Pension Disbursing Office

5. Only those pensioners whose Pension Sanctioning Authority is onboarded onto JeevanPramaan can avail this facility. For list of Onboarded Pension Sanctioning Authorities please visit https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in

This app is absolutely horrible . It is supposed to work for people who are unable to visit the bank or stay abroad. I have been trying to open the app here in Germany and I keep getting the same error. "Connection timed out". Installed the app on multiple devices still getting the same error. Have connected with VPN , BUT NO CHANGE. Govt has a long way to go if this is the condition of digital service .

I will rate the app as zero .. Very disgusting application. It doesn't work. It gives network error 904. NIC is not a right organisation and don't know how to design an application. For example a tab with name device registration and operator identification is provided, it sounds something that it ask about the telecom operator, instead it should have been mentioned as pensioner name or simply a name.. Please update it or remove from Play Store. I have installed and uninstalled 4 time.

I wouldn't give a star to this useless app. There is no point of making the app if the app developers are not ready to sort the issues faced by users while using the app. I tried using the app for more than 20 times to capture my photo and every time it comes up with one common complaint 'improve lighting' but I tried to get the photo in broad daylight. Either fix the app or just remove it from all the platforms. What sort of department is this which cannot manage one simple app?
