Ratings and reviews

Garbage app. The fares in search results are sometimes different from the fares you actually pay making the search useless for shopping by price. Also the add on we added does not show up on the billing summary. So even if the add on is selected and we're charged for it, the billing says "no add on" so it seems like we're paying for something we're not going to get. So we just chose to remove the add on.

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK may get stranded. I got stranded because the App used my old phone number for OTP so I could not book. All my accounts were updated with new phone number. But the App only shows my old device and old phone number for sending OTP. My profile shows my new phone but the OTP goes to old phone. Air Asia customer service is non-existent unless you go way out to the airport and even then they have few customer service reps who do not have time to listen or help.

Completely agree with this review so copied it: "Terrible experience. Airline requires you to use it to check in online, but it doesn't work. An hour in and I am unable to view my boarding pass. I will definitely think twice when I book my next flight. If you only could check in via the website then you'd have a choice if something doesn't work. But forcing users to an app, and then the app doesn't work is probably as bad as it gets in terms of a customer experience."
