When I had my iPhone it connected 75% of the time to my Canon 6D. When I switched to Samsung S9+ the app connected once. I have been trying for weeks now to connect and no luck. I wish I could get my money back. This product has been extremely disappointing and that's the honest truth. Save yourself from stress and find another option. Sincerely, -M

Very buggy unit. Worked occasionally on my older phone (2 years ago). Recently tried on a Pixel 3 and Samsung S10 and will not connect via Bluetooth. Feels like an Android OS/pulse firmware issue but I have no way to upload new firmware..... Was very supportive of this concept when it first came out but Alpine Labs doesn't appear to be interested in supporting this unit anymore. Noticed the Android app has last updated in 2017!?! Save your money and look elsewhere. Sad.

Like virtually everyone else here says, the app is trash, the firmware is trash, the Alpine Labs team aren't updating the app to work with new phones. They don't do updates any more, bugs aren't fixed. If you're lucky enough to connect at all, you'll likely constantly get disconnected, or the thumbnail feature won't work, or it will tell you that the device is connected, but it isn't connected to a camera. And yet, they still sell the product from their website. Scam.
