DiGi KGB is a selfie account opening and m-passbook application that is offered by Kerala Gramin bank. It is a light weight, robust and highly informative app that enables the user to create savings bank account instantly. It also gives complete real time information about all the accounts of the customer.

Kerala Gramin bank is the first Regional Rural Bank in the country to launch a such an app.

Ratings and reviews

The worst experience I have ever got from a banking app. Opened my Account in 2017 and still haven't given me an ATM debit card. Saying even after 5 years they're still short of the cards. No other options for any transactions in the app other than to just check the balance and to see if the account is active or not. Now the App is suddenly logout and can't login again ...

I couldn't complete the registration because the app suddenly exits when selfie is clicked! When tried on a different device, the SMS never arrived :( Thank you for your reply. Tried the app again. My android version is 11. Now it doesn't go beyond the first screen.

Good app.I liked the UI, layout and the features. Many approach this as a mobile banking app but this is good passbook app with account opening facility. Shows all the details of all accounts. Deposit, loan, FD, RD all are shown in a single app. Ministatement and current balance can be accessed from home page itself, it's very useful. ATM locations is also shown it's helpful while traveling. Share option provided in the app is useful to share our account number and IFSC easily to someone. We can also add notes for particular transaction. Search feature filter help to easily spot the transaction I am searching.Good app, customer ID also should be added in the share option.
