My experience with this app is mixed. I have used it in 3 different places. The activation were not very smooth mostly. Once it is connected, the data stream is good. In Japan, we had to try different different settings for a while to make it work. In Hong Kong, It works on my iPhone but not android phone. In Taiwan, it couldn't not be activated at all. It was so frustrating to see nomad keeps flashing and you don't have any internet access at the airport even you purchased the plan ahead of tim

Customer service in the app is excellent! I always get someone quickly and they are able to resolve my requests quickly and kindly. The app is easy to use and track usage, and the widget is neat too. I can't review the quality of the data because I buy for other people, but I have some SIMs that have been going for months, so I know they're getting good use out of it. I would definitely consider Nomad for myself if I was traveling!

Edit- finally fixed my issue, and the solution (APN settings) is not documented in the app. OG- This app seems too big to be a scam, and yet, that's my experience so far. Followed all directions exactly for install but have no service. Tried all the troubleshooting they have on the app but it doesn't work. Tried 'customer support' but they don't seem to understand that I can't use the app to contact them if I don't have the service, and they closed the chat when I was between wifi connections.
