From banking to investing and funeral cover, the OM Money Account App puts a world of finance in the palm of your hands. Transact on the go with your OM Money Account, check your balances, submit funeral claims, and apply for a loan and additional funeral cover, and much more.

HOW IT WORKS
Sign up for a Money Account at any Old Mutual branch. Alternatively, you can contact the Old Mutual Money Account call centre (0860 445 445) for more information.

Lastly, register for Old Mutual Rewards at www.secure.rewards.oldmutual.co.za. You can then access all accounts – Money Account and Rewards - on your OM Money Account App.

WHAT’S INSIDE
Money Account
The OM Money Account is an account unlike any other. A banking account that gives you two accounts in one: a fully functional day-to-day SWIPE Account and a SAVE Account which invests your savings in a Unit Trust:
● SWIPE Account lets you Tap and pay, withdraw cash, and make payments just as you would with a regular banking account.
● SAVE is a unique savings feature that allows you to save as much (or as little) as you want, in a Unit Trust account.

The features of the Money Account include:
● Deposit cash into your Money Account at any Shoprite, Checkers, Usave, Pick n Pay or Boxer store.
● Buy airtime, data, and electricity
● Pay and manage beneficiaries
● Quick Pay - pay other Money Account holders for free using their mobile number
● Send Money - make a payment to a mobile number
● Access the money in your SAVE Account ANYTIME without giving notice
● Transfer money between your SWIPE and SAVE accounts
● View accounts balances and transaction history
● Switch card on/off

Funeral cover and claims
● Apply for Old Mutual Funeral cover
● Submit a Funeral claim

You can also sign up for free to learn, earn and redeem Old Mutual Rewards points with Old Mutual Rewards from within the OM Money Account App.

With the Old Mutual Rewards portal, you can view your balance, earn points, and spend them:

Ratings and reviews

I relocated to the UK in November 2023. My app was removed by Old Mutual, so I have no access to my account at all. After numerous emails between app support and complaints, it is established that the company cannot call international numbers, cannot explain why my app was deactivated in the first place and the best solution is to switch off my card until I can return to SA in person and sort it!!!🤣 No hard feelings! At least I'll have one less bank account to worry about soon.

The app is currently in a big mess. For two months now, I can use the bank app only once after uninstalling and reinstalling it. If I log out, then I can't get back in again unless I repeat the process. its very frustrating and needs to be fixed then I will remove the comment.

horrible, it never works, cant login alot of the time, so good luck trying to make a payment or transfer money in times of importance. has been an issue for a long time, will be moving banks because it is super unreliable its like gambling, will the app work today and i can pay my wifi bill? oh you got slapped with error 0305 "cant connect try again later" news flash, it is already later, 2 days later infact dont do old mutual banking
