Ratings and reviews

The app almost never works. I enter my phone number and code sent and it asks for my email. Then it says "account already exists" and sends code to confirm email, which I do. Then I repeatedly get an error message saying something went wrong. On those occasions where I am able to book a reservation, I can't modify the reservation without going through the same flawed process above. Garbage and a complete waste of time.

Traveling regularly for both business and personal, I have used the OpenTable app for a number of years, in many states and various size cities and towns. It is certainly a very efficient and easy way to search for restaurants in the area, check availability and book a table within a matter of minutes. Highly recommended!

Works pretty well at what does, though it's not a panacea. Not all restaurants use it, and those that do will only set aside a certain percentage of their tables to be reservable through the app. Restaurants still like to keep control, so sometimes a phone call is even more effective. The flow for searching for restaurants you've already been to sometimes feels more convoluted than it ought to be.
