It's an OK app but not accurate at all. I selected "Delivery", yet in selected over 20 places, not one place delivers. Today is my 50th birthday. I didn't want to have to go out and get something. Just beware that businesses are listed but in the wrong areas. Over half of the restaurants on the delivery area don't deliver. Wayne A Caddell Jr
Dear Yelp, I tend to make my own decisions about most everything I do. But, when there's a moment I feel like I need others opinions, I've always come to you. I've found that, most times, I end up agreeing with the average of the reviews of whatever I'm looking up, which is nice as well as convenient. However, I don't have a whole lot of money and my phone isn't the best it can be and doesn't have room for much of anything. So it is rude, and annoying, when I cannot read more than a sentence of a review before being prompted to download your app. Why? What in the hell does it matter if I'm using the mobile browser site or your app? You still get money from the fact I visit your site and click your links. BUT the fact you're forcing me to download this app - which I had to delete 2 of the 4 apps I have to do to leave this review - just to be able to use the service you're supposed to be openly providing (see: READING PEOPLES REVIEWS OF THINGS) is ridiculous. I'm deleting this app after this, and on the occasions I may want to find a review, I'll probably just check the places Facebook page from now on.
Basically a trashy version of Google reviews where trolls can say racist things and degrade women as Yelp "tolerates colorful language." Their own words. I swear. That was the response when I tried to remove a racist comment left by someone who tried to commit insurance fraud at my place of business. My employee was also called a derogatory term for a female, and they replied that"they are ok with it." The reviews on their app are overwhelmingly negative. Let the trolls keep reading each other's comments. Uninstalling and keeping my world positive!
The only reason I'm installing is because the Yelp browser forces you to install the app to read anything at all, which is really underhanded, in my opinion. Have used the app before, would not recommend. Browser's ease of access is much better.
One of the most used apps on my phone. Great for a person who's on the good and needs to find business info in a snap. Most of the bugs of the past have been erased, and now things are looking up. Good job, kids.
This is my favorite app on my phone, right behind Google Maps. I can get restaurant reviews. I can even search the reviews for a specific word. I love that users post pictures of the menus. This is the best app.
Big things are happening this week. You can now make reservations that require a credit card! Ok, maybe not “big.” But definitely worth a call out, and a celebratory meal. We suggest making a reservation.
Best travel app for hotel & vacation rental deals for your vacation trips!
