The app is great and so is the Onewheel XR. The app is easy to use and very functional. I love tracking rides. Reduced the rating now that I have a Pint. I think it is a design flaw and not an app issue but connectivity is absolutely terrible with the Pint. They even admit it themselves. I called support and they emailed me tips on how to try and get it to work. The instructions, and let me be clear that this is not a joke, were to place the phone directly on the front foot pad of the board.

App is simple enough. Easy and intuitive. Unfortunately it's extremely unreliable on connecting to your board. You have to go through a million hoops half the time. Unfortunately it constantly disconnects from the board when I go in to check during my ride. At that point, the only way I can reconnect is to close app, open app, turn Bluetooth off completely, then when the message says to turn on Bluetooth on the Onewheel app, do it from there. Not from your phone. Please fix this.

The app is full of features, but it's lacking very basic features that even the most basic apps have like accessibility features. I have a very hard time seeing anything in the app because the font is so small and the background and the font are such similar colors. It would be nice to have features to keep the maps displaying the layer you prefer instead of defaulting back to the dark theme. For the onewheel gt the custom shaping is not currently working.
