2/5 stars for this one. was going to post a classified ad, had detauled pictures (which is somewhat important when you want to sell an item and be fair to the buyer) and it popped up with photo credits. Photo credits? The app already monetizes using ad-impressions, but I'm supposed to pay, so more users are driven to engage them? Sorry, not going to be the content that gets directly and indirectly monetized. Pick one, you can't have both.

Now have to pay subscription to sell anything, which does explain why the jumble of For Sale items is mostly dropshipped tat from resellers. As noted below, it implies that a limited number of listings can be made without subscribing, but it's not the case. The app is plagued with ads (mostly Temu - ew) which is all but unnavigable as a result, I know there's a cost to running it but this isn't the way to offset it! No reason to continue using; shame, used to be brilliant.

Hi Chloe, thank you for your feedback. Advertisements are necessary in order to continue to provide most functions on Shpock free of charge. If you would like to support us, please have a look at our subscriptions, which will remove all advertisements for a small monthly fee. Kind regards, your Shpock Team

I tried Shpock a few years ago with literally zero success, but I was recently invited to give it another try. I found they'd since introduced a mandatory charge, so it wasn't possible to revisit without a subscription (they didn't mention this in the invite). I explained that I'd had no luck previously and requested a free trial. Their response didn't address the issue and you can see from their response (below) they're still missing the point. I'll stick to the other tools/sites that work.

Hi Jonathan, in order to increase your chances on a sale, we recommend regularly updating listings (e.g. price or description) if an item is not selling for a longer period of time. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our support team at support@shpock.com, we will be happy to help. Kind regards, your Shpock Team
