I love LBC, but I'm afraid this app is terrible. Many of the videos don't play (apart from the adverts), same with the audios, and the Opinion section clearly isn't being overseen by an editor as its articles are routinely full of typos. All really disappointing for such a good broadcaster. Come on LBC, we know you can do better! The Global Player app remains far superior.

Didn't think it could be worse than the Global app but it is. The radio turns itself off when i use other apps eg google and it's considerably more difficult to turn the radio back on, it buffers for ages, it's not easy to pause and pick up where you left off so you lose your place (global is much better) and my phone freezes regularly since i installed it. Am deleting the app and reinstalling global - words i thought I'd never say.

The radio playback becomes extremely unstable if there's any interruption to the Internet connection or Bluetooth connectivity. It easily goes into a vicious loop of stopping and starting rapidly which you can observe directly. This should be trivial to reproduce. Hopefully it can be fixed soon because besides the annoyance of having to restart the stream, it clearly uses a heap of battery power while it's in a tight infinite loop of trying to play and stopping.
