Body Mass Index (BMI) is a calculated measure of body weight relative to height. This app calculates body mass index and the corresponding BMI weight status category (Underweight, Healthy weight, Overweight, Obese). The BMI app is intended for adults 20 years and older. Height and weight can be entered in English units (inches and pounds) or Metric units (centimeters and kilograms). In addition to displaying the BMI and weight category, users have the option to list all BMI weight categories and their BMI ranges. There is a link to the CDC website where users will find detailed information on BMI, and have access to an online Child and Teen BMI Calculator. The BMI app is free, simple to use, has no ads and no in-app purchases. The app needs no special permissions and does not collect user data of any kind.
