Something I noticed about this app. If you are exploring a SD Card, you cannot delete the Android folder that resides in it. If you want to delete the Android folder of your SD card, you must switch back to the preinstalled stock Files app or use a different Files app to do so. You cannot use Fossify File Manager to delete it. Aside from that this is a great app!

Great, light weight, ad-free app that does everything I need from a file manager. Finally I can perform the simple task of placing shortcuts to folders on my homepage. Something Google couldn't provide in their poorly designed pre-installed Files app.

Using this file manager with Fossify's photo gallery and other apps improves the usefulness of all of them. It's a mystery why the Android Data folders on Android 14 where Vungle and other advertisers dump their junk files show up empty even with the system's original file manager. I don't believe Android is designing its later OS to be self cleaning. I think they're hiding the ad files to protect their own profits. Using the whole suite of Fossify apps seems to be the way to defeat Google.
